October Update

We wanted to give a quick update to let everyone know the current situation for the Beckwith Project. This week we are working on completing optical testing to ensure line integrity is ready on Glenashton, Dewar, Amberwood and then on to Crooked Rd and Kidd road. Unfortunately the Tornado did cause a few setbacks for us however we are back on track. Our install crew continues to prepare more houses in anticipation of turning on services in the next few weeks! The following zones will be the first online:

Glenashton (Including Maple Ridge)
Dewar
Amberwood
Kidd Rd
Crooked
Jock Ridge
Cedar Crest
Hemlock
Cemetery Side Rd.

We understand Bell has increased their timelines from 3+ years to sometime soon in Cemetery Side Rd directly related to our efforts, I suppose we should be flattered that a Company as small as Community Fibre can have an impact so large on a company such as Bell. Over all, we are not letting that deter our goal to provide services in that zone and intend to fulfill that goal.

Once these are completed we will be moving on to the next zones and will flip some more to sign up status. We understand everyone wants service yesterday, we are working to get this completed as quickly as possible and appreciate your understanding.

If you have any questions, comments please feel free to e-mail us at info@communityfibre.ca or give us a call.

Thanks,
Community Fibre Team
